Every CMA team is led by a firm principal and consists of experienced staff members selected to meet the needs of each specific project.
Barbara has over 37 years of architectural experience. Her roles at Cogdell & Mendrala have included serving as Project Principal and Project Architect for all types of educational and related projects. She provides a firm understanding coupled with the experience of navigating the procedures and regulations set in place by the Historic District Board of Review. She has extensive knowledge of Georgia State requirements and has worked repeatedly with the Board of Regents and GSFIC.
Marty Harrell has guided the interior design efforts on all projects since joining the firm in 1994. With a strong background in programming and space planning, she is able to assist owners in developing or refining their space requirements and adjacencies.
Casey has served as a specialist on numerous CMA educational projects including many renovation and addition projects. His attention to detail and construction experience provide the skills to evaluate existing structures and design cost effective solutions.
Since joining Cogdell & Mendrala, Eric has played a lead role in design and preparation of construction documents for many the firm’s largest projects.
Rudd a 17-year veteran of Cogdell & Mendrala Architects, is our “boots on the ground” for projects. He is also CMA’s roof specialist and is as a Registered Roofing Observer.
Teri works closely with firm principals and project managers to assist with design and technical support – providing architectural design services and solutions on CMA design projects.
Sean works closely with project managers to coordinate document production.
Maria is responsible for initial phone and office contact with clients and other visitors, word processing and scheduling for field personnel, and performing all administrative duties for Cogdell & Mendrala.
