This SCCPSS K-8 school features a wide corridor serving as a central spine along which those functions serving all grades are located. Three classroom wings, each housing a specific age group, project from the spine. Utilizing generously sized windows, the wing layout takes advantage of natural daylighting throughout.
In consideration of the aesthetic values of the community and the local school system, the building façade features traditional materials and detailing, recalling the area’s rich architectural heritage but blended with contemporary elements to project the image of a 21st Century facility.
